Ofcom fine money is passed to the UK Consolidated Fund at HM Treasury, which is used for general government expenditure. Some penalties may also be sent to the treasuries of Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, or Guernsey, as appropriate. The money does not form part of Ofcom's own revenue
