I am a Swedish citizen. I had received a Canadian visa and was planning to travel from Germany to Canada. However, at the airport, I was contacted by an officer and was subjected to many questions. The officer eventually told me that I seemed to intend to stay permanently in Canada, and my ETA was refused. I would like to clarify that my intention was only to visit. However, I do have a fiancée living in Winnipeg, Canada, and we are expecting a baby in November (23rd). I want to be present for this important moment and support my partner. My question is: Given that my partner lives in Canada and we are having a child together, is there a way for me to apply again or appeal this decision? I would be grateful for any advice or steps I can take to be with my family during this time.
