@barbellkat: Gentle parenting is NOT permissive parenting. My kids don’t get swats but they have consequences that are consistent and firm. Alongside that and healthy communication about feelings and co-regulation, they’re incredibly well adjusted and respectful kids. Shockingly, the internet once again has no idea what they’re talking about so hopefully this is a learning experience for some of you 😋 #fyp
