it’s sad because some people don’t love the lord back as much as we try to love other people and chace after other people who won’t give us what god can give us. god won’t ever leave you, people can. and maybe some will and some won’t but putting god first and loving him will lead you to a word full of life and love that you cannot get and feel from people 🥹

I realized this today. I’ve tried to love someone who consistently pushed me away, hurt me, etc. Obviously there are situations in this relationship where I was in the wrong. But God is using my grief to show me how He feels when we turn away from Him.
