@iambyhaze: Where do I begin?? Well firstly I am so proud of me. So SO proud of me for remaining consistent with this phase of my artistic journey. Cause babyyyyy we really have a film coming out & it’s directed by my talented sistar @zunyda 🌿 What started out as an affirmation EP offering for my tribe became an album + film project that I needed to remember who I was after it felt like I lost all of me. When my grief got so heavy I rediscovered my light & peace while creating Clovis Lane. Creating this project pushed me to a deeper level of self discovery & helped me trust in my gifts again. Transformation seemed to be the initiation that led me to discover that Transmutation is one of my strongest gifts. As I navigated living between New Jersey, Jamaica & Los Angeles over the past few years, Clovis Lane grew into my peace & I decided to take it with me everywhere I go. This project venerates not only my mother but her homeland Jamaica, the country that taught me to value my family & community deeply. I’m so grateful to everyone involved in this process over the years because we truly made something timeless. It feels so good to be on the other side of creation after talking about this for so long. I’ve been excited and nervous to share Clovis Lane with y’all at the right time, but the time is now & all roads lead to Clovis Lane!
