my mom is a mail order pharmacist for a very large HMO, she said they get daily phone calls from patients asking why their medicine is late or not fully filled, and if they can switch it for a different one they have seen advertised. she said having to explain why they work with certain manufacturers or why they don't prescribe other medication is exhausting. just because a medication says it does the same thing doesn't mean it is compounded the same which means it could do different things in your body to achieve the desired result.

The FDA isn't going to be able to do anything about this just like they haven't stop companies from selling CBD which is under their jurisdiction as a therapeutic (Epidiolex). Its going to take Novo suing these companies which they are currently doing but I guess it's not working 😭

To clarify are you trying pointing out that the FDA is saying that compounding semiglutide is no longer legal, therefore the companies are operating illegally. Or your research is saying that the compounding companies are sending out medication saying it’s one thing but it’s not the medication they are claiming?
