I guess the only thing that bothers me is national security. The media being in the tank for the left could release information that gets our guys killed. So I feel like the media doesn’t need to know everything coming out of the pentagon.

Honestly, I would like to see journalists actually be journalists. What’s the difference between a press that only reports one way and a press that only reports what they’re told ? As a viewer, not much.

I think it is the double edged blade. National security is important, so is free press. While it may reduce unintended leaks of information, it also puts real journalism at risk. I think, overall, a bad idea.

well, a lot of the news agencies that got kicked out. didn't want to sign the pretty standard agreement to report in the Pentagon, the same agreement for the last like six six administrations. and the ones that left. also have a history of embellishing or lying outright? and since none of them get held accountable for anything I can imagine why they don't want them in the Pentagon

so your argument here is two wrongs. make a right. but trump bad. to expand on that you said if the government is doing something bad the media should do something bad, leaking classified information. two rights do not make a wrong. not saying Trump is in the right here. in this case three wrong. do not make a right either but the argument of government bad media do bad for good is not a very good argument
