I dropped out of high school and not a single one messaged me a day after, a year after, or even years later. But the still follow me on instagram. Superficial friends that dont want deep connections or its one sided.

I ran into a girl from my elementary up to high-school and she looked at me like she had seen a ghost. apparently after high-school when I moved off island everyone from my class thought I offed myself mid pandemic. thats how I found out everyone knew what was happening to me at home

I still end up thinking about this boy named Hunter from kindergarten. He got a concussion in my class one day, when he was in the hospital they ended up discovering he had brain cancer. Sadly it had already developed significantly, and he passed away when we were around 7 yesrs old. There was a plaque for him in my elementary school.

Anyone else miss an entire class? My 4th grade class looped to be together for 5th. I miss the bonds we had, and how we were like a big family. I always think about them. I've transitioned since then, I wonder if they still think about me, or if they even recognize me today. If they do, I wonder if they'd even want to be my friends again?
