I was in a horrible motorcycle accident in 2020, I crashed and slammed my head on the curb with no helmet on. I broke every rib on my left side and fractured my skull. I was bleeding out from my head. All I remember was trying to stand up but I physically couldn’t, I felt the blood rush down my body, I passed out, got a blood transfusion and flat lined for 26 seconds. (What I was told after i woke up) the best way I could describe it was It felt defeating. Helpless

It feels like when you’d fall asleep in the car and your parents would carry you inside. It’s cold but warming at the same time. It’s the feeling of being completely safe and at peace. I had bled out during a procedure and died and I remember not even caring about what was going on around me. Just the warm, sleepy, and peaceful feeling bleeding out brought me.

Everyone is saying its warm, but it was different for me. I was so so cold, and couldn't stop shaking. My heart was racing, and no matter how much pressure I put on, or how many layers I wore, I was still cold and bleeding. Its not peaceful at first. Its jarring. Being ready to die, and accepting you're dying are two completely different feelings. It's only peaceful before you fall asleep. When you've accepted everything for what it is. Idk how I survived. If you're contemplating, and reading this, take it as your message to hold out. Things don't get better, but that sadness, it's easier than the acceptance.

I think for me it wasn’t scary, I saw it, I felt it drip from my fingertips. My breath became harder and each exhale felt like relief. Your heart does race but you feel ok with this outcome. Note: I was bleeding from my arm due to an injury caused by a cut, I was scared I hit an artery but after my secondary confirmed nothing was bad I felt safe.

I walked myself nearly all the way to the hospital all while actively 🩸 out, eventually I sat on a park bench and put my head in my hands, I was dizzy and wanted to sleep, I felt like I couldn’t walk much longer, then my boxing coach picked me up and took me to the er. I felt almost a sense of doom, it was scary
