I saw it more as the feminist can be better advanced when there's money on ground to fund things, be it donating to medical research for pcos and such, creating more female led infrastructure, lobbying the government to pass more favourable laws, etc. We live in a capitalist society, so more women with money means more people to effect widescale changes.

How do you expect a lady without economic empowerment to fight for custody of her children after leaving an abusive marriage, do you think the court will grant her the request. Just realized a lot of people who claim to hate feminism have ZERO idea what the movement is really about. At this point it’s hardly their fault because feminism has become a lot like other aspects of life that’s supposed to be unified but is not. A lot of people hide under feminism to push things that feminism, in all of its originality, should not identify with. Others don’t properly understand what the term is about before claiming to be one. Since when are there qualifications to becoming a feminist? That’s like saying someone pushing and fighting for their right to live and right to dignity of person or whatever fundamental human right they’re supposed to have, should only do so when they have specific resources. Weren’t we taught these rights are free for all and given to each person so long as they exist as an individual? ‘You can’t be broke and a feminist’ Definitely the most stupid thing I’ve heard in all of this.
