Miami 80s Thrift Haul🌴🐬✨🍍 I’m switching it up for this week’s video- the truth is I spend HOURS AND HOURS behind the scenes hunting for the perfect vintage pieces to curate my home, and that’s honestly half the fun!!!! I always get questions regarding what my tips and tricks are for finding vintage peices... and truly.. you just have to put in the time- first of all, you have to do your background research: I’m constantly researching what it was truly like to live in Miami in the 80s. Consequently, I am CONSTANTLY checking Facebook Marketplace, Ebay, estate sale listings, and 1st Dibs (although I don’t recc that.. SO PRICEY). I do hit thrift stores every so often... but I’ll be honest with you guys- my closest Savers is 45 mins away and the last 5 times I’ve gone I found hardly EVER find pieces in my own state... so you have to be willing to take a drive... or... find a really good shipper who is constantly in different areas of the country. I have 3 shippers that I bounce between for different areas. I FIND SO MUCH in NY and NJ. OBVIOUSLY Florida has the true gems... but I unfortunately haven’t found an affordable way to get pieces from there yet. Let me know if you have a hookup!!! I usually like to wait to show you guys the pieces I’ve sourced until I know exactly where they are going in my house.. but I’m trying to realize that not everything has to be ‘perfect’ online...Do you want to know the REAL behind the scenes...?!..actually have a garage FULLL of furniture, two bedrooms full of furniture, a storage area in my basement chuck full, and many other pieces scattered throughout my home ready to go LOL (Can you say hoarder.....!?🤣) I wanted to take a video to show you guys some of the pieces I’ve sourced over the last year- let me know if you have any suggestions of where they should go!!!
