This makes sense. Writing down what you need to do takes the load away from the mental list you were carrying. Now you know you've written it down and won't lose it, you no longer have to worry. This helps me a lot. Highly recommend pen and paper.

I do that all the time. At the end of the day I make a list of all the things I didn’t get to do so that I’m not thinking about them later!!! If they do resurface I literally tell myself “ It’s on your list, you’ll get to it!”
