You are so right. My recent ex was emotionally unavailable and my nervous system felt it. I was constantly sick around him bubble guts, nausea, almost vomiting and I didn't know was going on. I know now, after he discarded me, that it was my nervous system screaming for help. Due to all of his intermittent reinforcement, I have a trauma bond on him. Working on myself in my EMDR sessions.

That’s how I feel sometimes. I love my partner, but we’ve been in a long-distance relationship for the past five years. Because of his job, he hasn’t been able to move to where I am, and he doesn’t want me to move to where he lives since we own a house together here. He comes to see me every month and stays for a week, which helps, but it’s still hard being apart so often. He says he eventually wants to move in, but I don’t want to keep living alone forever. Any advice please ❤
