His design draws from Goethe's Erlkönig poem and European folklore, portraying him as a vengeful, ghostly king who lures souls to doom. He disguises himself as syndicate boss "Matthew" to infiltrate, wearing ragged brown attire and metal pauldrons. Motives Devastated by his world's Catherine's death (blaming other Heathcliffs for her endless suffering across Mirror Worlds), Erlking Heathcliff's core drive is erasing all alternate Heathcliffs to end the cycle of tragedy. He views them as "cursed" copies perpetuating her pain, believing their annihilation will free her soul and grant twisted peace in mutual oblivion.
