@justagirlgoingthroughit: Just A Girl 🪶 Birding 🪶 Through It: Double Crested Cormorant (Phalacrocorax Cormorant) I’ve spotted this bird 2 more times after my initial sighting (8/31, 9/12). They always ended up in the water at the same time every time I spotted it, 12:56pm. Their feeding routine was fixed and efficient. My favorite moment with this bird was when I discovered it perched on a tree. Before then, I didn’t know webbed feet birds could stand on branches. You learn something new everyday. After seeing him in the tree, I had a beautiful interaction with a couple who was curious as to what I was looking at. I got to share the little bit of knowledge I had on the bird. They showed immense gratitude for the encounter because I was able to teach them something they hadn’t known 😌 Birding is my Top 3 favorite hobbies as of right now.
