1. they did not have the authority to speak up or do speeches because this event was not an open mic event 2. they weren't able to choose their own outfits so what were they supposed to do 3. they left early and didn't drink because that's legit the bare minimum, what else could they have done, protest? 4. why are all the hate only towards the idols and not W korea, you can still hate the idols but like the reason all of this happened is bcs of W korea

It’s a fundraising gala. Not an awareness event. The gala is paid for by WKorea, where they get fashion brands involved and get them to donate. The idols in attendance are not supposed to donate, as it’s an event for the fashion brands. At the event, the fashion brands invite their ambassadors (aka kpop idols) to come dressed in clothes picked by their fashion brands. And they are just simply there attending as guests. To promote the fashion brands that donated. That’s the best way I can really explain it. The event comes in the form of a gala/party. The gala itself raises awareness so others can donate if they chose and kpop idols come to help represent that cause. It has the same formula as other gala’s out there.

Why is everyone acting like they killed . sorry for saying this but they didn't do anything wrong the one who should blame is the event creators, the idols just do to match the vibe to not be leftout. i didn't see the wrong. instade of blaming the idols blame on the event creators the whole event was created by other person and they have to attained that's it don't spread hate on idols . if you ask why don't they leave we only saw on the internet we don't know the reality and even if they were ristricted and can you all hate who you want by not mentioning bts they have donated and they don't have to talk whenever they see mic like commentator don't blame on the idols the environment by itself was like that blame on w Korea not idols

Js saw this and wanted to share yet I’m still very disappointed. This is W Korea. The Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign: Love Your W was launched in 2006 and has been working for 20 years to raise awareness of the importance of early breast cancer screening. However, there were criticisms that the October 15th event was not properly organized and conducted in light of the campaign's objectives, and we take these criticisms seriously. First and foremost, we would like to offer our deepest apologies for any inconvenience or hurt caused by our failure to carefully consider the position of breast cancer patients and their families. We also feel sorry for the many people who sympathized with the campaign's purpose and participated with good intentions, and we are sorry for the inconvenience caused by the controversy. Thinking of all those who were heartbroken by this event, We are looking back on our shortcomings. Over the years, the core of this campaign has been the activities of the Korea Breast Cancer Foundation, which raises awareness of the importance of early detection of breast cancer and supports surgical treatment costs for low-income families. We also received warm support from those who showed interest in supporting our activities. To ensure that their sincere and loving spirit shines through, we will continue to examine our shortcomings based on the various criticisms and suggestions. guys you do realize they came knowing it was a fundraiser GALA? also, w korea literally made it a party not the idols. yes, the idols had a choice to drink a choice to party. but that’s because it’s quite literally a gala, a social occasion with special entertainments or performances. yes we should still hold the idols accountable, but none of you guys are blaming the actual event holders/organizers.
