If anyone ever doubts James Cameron as THE Titanic guy then they haven't watched the HOURS of special features for the movie which were 90% him talking about the actual ship and 10% him talking about how the movie looks like the ship.

Someone I know in the State department told me they knew it imploded immediately and exactly where it was but couldn’t say that publicly bc it was detected by military tech they needed to stay secret. So the whole search and rescue effort that dragged on for a few days was a total farce.

No because the only thing funnier than that is the documentary on HBOMax Where they interviewed potentially everybody and their mother who has ever even thought about the ocean and every single one of those people warned that guy not to do it. That he was using bad material and was going to die for sure. Like every single person he encountered.
