i sit in the front to help with this. the prof makes direct eye contact with you more so i honestly forget the rest of class is there it’s like they’re just talking to me and it forces me to lock in

if the lecture is the first time you're hearing the information, you're wasting ur time. much better to read 1 day ahead, sleep on it, then when u hear it in lecture the material gets reinforced. so much more relaxed and efficient than trying to pay attention to a flood of new information during lectures
