I lost my heart horse june 7th, 2019. I know right now it doesnt feel like life is going to get easier, but I promise you it does. grief comes in waves, years later, I still have days where I cry like it just happened that day. those horses will always have a special place in your heart, and when the day comes and you get another horse. dont feel guilty for bonding with them and loving them🩷 im proud of you, and so tremendously sorry you have had to endure this. you have been in my constant prayers!

I had to euthanize my two soul senior dogs 2 weeks apart about 1.5 years ago. My advice is just take it minute by minute and day by day. Some days are way harder than others even after 1.5 years. Take all the time you need to grieve your sweet horses. Honestly being around people was hard for me especially when they asked how I was doing. Sometimes it helped sometimes it just made me cry more being around people. Sending lots of positive thoughts and hugs your way through this extremely difficult time.
