I was so angry when they were negotiating with her to arrest her but as I sat with it & the way white womanhood- especially OLD white womanhood- works, I’m glad they didn’t throw her down because she would have used that as a manipulation & made her a victim & white people would fall for it. She ABSOLUTELY should have been cited for misuse of police services. We have a problem neighbor who has been told call again for a non-emergency & he’ll be the one in cuffs.

She said she was taught the racial slur meant “unlawful and dirty” and I swear to god a documentary has never made me more physically ill. She also said if AJ had a problem she should have called police THEN WHY DID SHE ONLY WAIT TWO MINUTES AFTER CALLING POLICE BEFORE SHE DID WHAT SHE DID.

i know it’s a hard watch but i think everyone needs to watch it. similar to the way that catfish story went viral not because it needs to be entertainment. but bc we need to talk more about system that protects people like susan and creates victims like aj.

And the way she didnt humanize those kids or AJ. Thats how you know when someone is racist to the core. When the detective asked what she saw on FB about the case and she named things about herself...LIKE??? If she was truly sorry, the fact that she took their mother away would've been top of her list. This documentary destroyed me.
