I was the same way, but I realize now after the last video that Dan was very intentional on how he made content in the early 2010s. He wanted to appear straight and was successful to some extent bc you and I wanted that sad tall man. I also wasn’t homophobic about Dan and Phil relationship, I was confused why so many fans felt entitled to it. Like sure, the evidence of a romantic relationship between them is piled high but it’s still not our (fans) business to know unless they want us to know. Oh and I wasn’t being a woke 13 year old, I was also in the closet so I understood not wanting anyone to know about your sexuality. This is a very long comment but this also the first video about Dan and Phil that isn’t like a joke or celebration of sorts (which them announcing their relationship is something to celebrate)
