How about we eliminate intrest on student loans moving forward. No reason we should be collecting interest on education which in theory helps better society as a whole.

They have sold my loans to 3 different companies and I can’t find it so I finally found it and I got high interest added to it so it sucks. Now I don’t know what to do

This is all so damn confusing. I’m in the SAVE program and have no idea what to do now. I don’t even know how many payments I’ve made over that last 25 years because of all the changes with different administrations.

stay on save. they are pushing really hard to get everyone off save because eventually it will be accepted and you will get your loans forgiven

I have been under student loans for over 20 years as a public service worker. At this point, I feel like they’re chains that I’ll never get rid of. I’m in prison!

I am on the SAVE plan, graduated in 2020 peak covid, so at this point my loans have YET to become active/accrue interest. I had a recertification date of September this year to calculate my payment. And then suddenly last week I got an email that they changed my recertification to 2027 with a payment scheduled for ‘28. I don’t think any of them know what they’re doing LOL

was signed up for student loans when I asked to not be multiple times while enrolling. my online university was closed down & they were luckily forgiven. we're not all that luckily. thankful as hell for it though 🙌 🙏

I’ve got no problem with the process of taking out a loan and being responsible for paying it back. I do have a problem with the insane INSANE interest on the loan that makes it impossible to pay back and still pay mortgage and bills. I chose to be a teacher and make very little to begin with but I’m required to have a Masters degree. I have to work a part time job just to scrape by.
