@alexx_s829: I chose to share this video in black and white because it represents a part of my life, a chapter I’ve finally closed. For years, I lived through abuse that broke me in ways I didn’t think I could ever recover from. I spent so long just trying to survive , pretending to be okay when I wasn’t, trying to make sense of the pain, trying to find myself again in all the chaos. Healing didn’t come easily. It came in waves, some soft, some that knocked me down all over again. But I never stopped fighting. I kept believing that there had to be more to life than the hurt I had known. And slowly, piece by piece, I started to feel free, free from the fear, the guilt, and the weight of everything that happened. Today, I can finally say I’m no longer just surviving, I’m living. I’m free. And I’m proud of the woman I’ve become through it all. I wish him nothing but the best, but I refuse to stay silent about the abuse I endured. I’m not sharing this to expose anyone, I’m sharing it because I want others to know that you can make it out. If you’re in an abusive relationship, please don’t stay for the kids. I did for years, and it nearly cost me myself. To my children; I hope your dad continues to grow and become a healthier version of himself for you. And to everyone else, as I move forward with my life, please don’t send me screenshots or messages about what he’s doing or who he’s with. I truly don’t want or need to know. We share children — and that’s where it ends. After eight months of living apart and finalizing our divorce, I’m ready to close this chapter for good.
