@fayee1998: When we found out my dad was terminally ill I said I would never get married because he would not be there to walk me down the aisle on my wedding day. Despite being so ill and exhausted, a few weeks later my mum and dad renewed their vows and my dad walked me and my sisters down the aisle so we had that memory in our hearts for our big day whenever that may be. Today marks 17 years since this special day and there still isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t think about my dad and how brave and amazing he was. I’m so lucky to have shared this memory with my dad and it’s something I will treasure in my heart forever 🫶 #grief #rip #memories #family #dad
