disconnect all batteries, both positive and negative, for the 15 minutes it takes on either end of the job it is well with it. Document it with photos, time stamped photos. Insurance is tough enough to get and pay for, don't give them a reason to drop you.

Perfect example!! “ I actually did a job on a roll off truck. Zero disconnect switch do I removed all the cables from the batteries. A few days later he went to use the truck and it would not start. Upon inspection the battery cables were cooked. They had been having really really bad storms up there and the o my thing I can figure and a coincident lighting hit the truck and cooked it” they tried to blame me and questioned me and I told ole bud that disconnecting the power is the first step and him and I had the discussion about it before I started.
