I loved the markets last year! My absolute favorites were the ones in Colmar but Munich and Strasbourg were lovely too! Going to Belgium this year and so torn on where to go. Antwerp and Ghent are definitely contenders

would suggest the Tallwood winterfestival in Munich if you dont like the main Christmas market.Main market is mostly Christmas decorations and food where as the Tallwood festival has an entire unique gift/craft Bazzar and food court. The Tallwood winter festival runs from Nov 26th-December 23

We are thinking we may go to Prague this year, but we would leave the day after Christmas so we will be there through New Year’s. I’m assuming the markets are still open. Does anyone know?

If you like smaller but unique Christmas markets that arnt as crowded as the most touristed ones are, I would suggest the Christmas markets in Riga Latvia and Tallinn Estonia.Even major cities like Dresden Germany often have smaller Christmas markets in squares across the city that are fun to go to if you can't stand the crowds at the main larger Christmas markets.Heck, Dresden even has a Finnish Christmas market outside of the main one
