during the rumors, the leaks and the lunching period of the album, i was getting a darker, more electronic vibe and it felt right at the moment. can’t say i wasn’t disappointed when all of a sudden it came out to be 80s disco funk. something doesn’t sit right. something’s missing.

I swear some of Gaga’s fans just are never happy with what she produces, you get what you get and its up to her to make adjustments on what she thinks is right for her at the time. Saying you wished for more darker tones or dark pop or whatever it is, is exactly what contributed to her rough spot just after ARTPOP. This does not help anyone or anything, enjoy the leaks and enjoy the clips from the production but stop bringing up “i wish for xyz” its just crazy.

The dark esthetic of the album and the vibe of the first two singles led me to believe we were going to get an industrial pop goth opus and instead we got disco diva in spooky clothes. Idk there’s glimpses of what I thought the album would be in like 4ish 5ish songs. The rest is just idk. I was so shocked and confused tbh.
