I have been saying this even to my friend and colleagues that we think we are educated but in reality we are not, the person who is really educated is the one who knows how to make and produce something, for instance you can ask a graduate mechanic to tell you how to make engine, trust me he won't tell you. But how to fix it.

The best for me is not to end at criticizing what was handed down to us. We should criticise and also provide solutions by suggesting the way forward. People with influence must champion change. We are wasting time criticising our past without offering the future. Come with ideas that can be presented to policy makers. Otherwise we will continue to talk with no action.

I like the way you are explaining it in it's simple terms for an ordinary person to understand,,but I goes beyond that even the way we build houses it's a colonial way of building and roofing,the food we eat etc

What is stopping the leadership from designing a curriculum that is practical and functional. The blame should not be focused on a colonial system but the leadership that keep it intact and instead focused on their own wealth. Singapore was colonised but had leadership that changed the trajectory of the Education and political system.
