My opinion is we don’t support enough major Aussie productions per year and that also means we only have a skeleton crew of indie artists supporting themselves. If our talent was bolstered by our own businesses and production houses we’d have a sway of talent. Plus advertising budgets have disappeared too so talent has less opinions across the board … But just an opinion.

I'd say Jacob Elordi, Sarah Snook (she is a bit older but she's risen lately), but yeah you are right. It'd be nice to see more Aussies rising in Hollywood

All of this actors are elite, they’d stand up in any movie. I’d say there is a healthy pipeline of actors coming through, much more so than let’s say the UK.

This isn’t an Aussie actor thing it’s an actor thing in general. Big movie stars aren’t what they used to be. They don’t sell movies. Brands do.

But this isn’t just an Australian thing either, the only new Movie stars are probably Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, Austin Butler. Jacob Eldordi is probably getting closest to these. Leo is probably the last true Movie Star
