as we learned from the movie where Lex stole Superman's powers- he's also capable of seeing down to the atomic level if he focuses hard enough- so even if you wanna argue that the lead is too sparse to clearly block his vision- homskie can just electron microscope that bitch and search for clumps of lead particles that block his vision 😭
