@melissagotstyle: Thoughts on logos/branding? Going off having consultations and shops with hundreds of women the verdict is that less is more when it comes to featuring obvious logos and brands on garments. Over the years it’s become a huge non negotiable for many women (including me) #personalstylist #fashiontiktok #fyp #styleadvice #branding
But why isn’t Country Road listening? I won’t buy any tops with huge logos plastered on them. Less is more.

I will never buy clothes with logos and have never worn them, even handbags I dislike anything that shows a logo or brand.

Yes agreed, I only buy something with a logo for things like sweaters/hoodies (only thing I buy from places like Country Road though, the rest of their range doesn’t appeal to me) and active wear. For smart casual onwards an inconspicuous label is ok but I’m more looking for a cut/quality style that suits me than flashing brands.

Less branding, I won’t buy it. I also dont want to be wearing what everyone else is wearing. It feels too much like Australian fashion is a uniform.

I dont want to be a walking advertisement and I dont care how exy the brand is that owns the logo is - to me it looks a bit tacky 🫣

My personal preference is for the logo to be no bigger than a few millimetres in size. Anything bigger and I don't buy it, as it looks cheap.

I will never buy anything with a big logo! Someone I know said they’ll only buy things with a big logo so people know what brand they’re wearing 😅😅

I definitely agree but I dooo feel that some people gravitate towards logos at a higher price point because they do want people to know that their denim shorts aren’t just Kmart! And I think people don’t like country road branding so much anymore because it’s not a high enough price point to warrant the branding!
