I just feel like it’s another thing that the UK health system has actually let down women. Not just women, but everyone every single person has a pelvic floor. The pelvic floor is so fascinating and it has so many roles and responsibilities for both men and women. I was never taught how to do exercises. It was never mentioned to me at school. It was never mentioned in any doctors appointment at all. I can guarantee the same for you. The only time I learned about pelvic health was in one of my pelvic health women’s health placements with an incredible educator. She taught me so much about breathing the role and responsibilities of the pelvic floor when there’s issues with the pelvic floor it can affect the whole body. I’ve been posting on social media about my endometriosis journey for quite awhile now. I realise that women have genuinely been let down by the UK health system.
