I also hate when people say this 😭 but how do we feel when autistic people say silly things like “my tism is flaring up” 😂 I use it when I’m talking to my husband as a silly way to express I’m feeling overstimulated and my nervous system is on fire and that way he knows what’s up and I don’t have to explain to everyone

I’m diagnosed twice with Level 1 Autism, and I say “I have a touch of the tism” and “I have the Elon musk flavor” like some ppl just have dark humor and love to self-roast 😂

I get that. I have been diagnosed by three separate doctors attempting to get my disability to go through. I have full autism but every once in awhile I do say a touch of the tism cuz I like that saying but I do have the diagnosis to prove it
