A lot of married moms have been saying this and I’m not understanding how they are married but forget they have another partner. Maybe they haven’t set boundaries for their partner to help? I don’t understand why they are trying to compare to single parents.

I’m a single mom and it is actually less stressful than when I was a married mom. That paycheck is not helpful when it comes with belittling and abuse.

This argument KILLS me. It is absolutely not the same. No one else is there when you are sick, or can’t make it to the daycare on time because of the traffic! And to overlook a whole other income contributing to your household is asinine! Sorry, not sorry.

I remember being so sick that I called my mom to come over. She was so ready to take care of me (her baby) and I said mom I just need to rest please take care of my kids. She did both.

Thank you!! As a single mom, man it’s so hard at times and I get angry at times because I didn’t think I would be doing this alone but these are the cards I was dealt with and it’s ok. But yes it’s not the same as a married mom.
