This happened to me, they confirmed it was bed bugs they called me back and told me. I didn’t bring them home. Thank god. But I did put protectors on my bed and spray everything with alcohol and water

Because of the bites being in clusters and straight lines, I would say bed bugs. Fleas are usually random bites. I would get to a doctor for confirmation and see how they recommend treating.

My mom works in property management so we are very familiar with bed bugs. Heat from a dryer and for things that can’t be heated you can wipe down with rubbing alcohol. It is VERY likely they get in your luggage and come home with you. After drying, wash and then dry again. You can also leave things outside for a few days. Bed bugs are the worst!!! In the future, check at least 3 corners of the mattresses, under the bed skirt and behind the head board. if the board is mounted we hit on it a few times to see if bugs move around/fall out. If you see anything dark on the mattress or the skirt, investigate further. It could be an actual bug or dried blood from the bugs.

If you were walking around Sandy areas it could be bugs from outside - or if you were wearing an outfit with only your ankles exposed it could be mosquitos.

Did you go to a place where there is a beach and did you go early in the am or at dusk? it could have been sand fleas

Those are bed bug bites. I’ve had bad flea bites and that’s not it. This is why I check sheets and mattresses at places I stay before even setting my stuff down. Take some Zyrtec or Claritin for the itching!

high heat in the dryer for at least 30 minutes to kill any bedbugs with all your luggage. I've seen that bounce dryer sheets deter them from your luggage.

I’ve experienced this. I kept everything on my porch until it was thoroughly cleaned and dried on hottest setting in dryer.

everything needs to be washed in super hot water the bags..id probably toss. I sincerely hope you didnt bring it inside 😬 because If the hotel had bed bugs... probably 99% chance you brought some back.... I hate this for you, I am so sorry. hoping for the best!

Go too a laundromat and wash everything that you can on the highest temperature. The other things you can put in a bag and put in the freezer for a week

Idk about fleas but we found a single bedbug in our apartment right before I had Hanley and the process to get rid of them is INSANE even in the tiny one bedroom we were living in. Every single item had to be bug bombed and then cleaned 😭

I’ve always heard fleas make a pattern like a straight line with their bite so I would say that is possibly bedbugs or could it be mosquitoes?
