Okay, but hear me out, I’m a swiftie and I don’t think she did this intentionally buuut I do think they need a dog whistle expert on her team. HEAR ME OUT THO. In 2017 her team became aware of a blog post that discussed how WS groups were using Ts’s image, lyrics, and merch as symbols for their agenda. Her team then sent the blogger a cease and desist and the ACLU stepped in to say hey that’s infringing on their right to free speech. So we know that she and her team have been aware of WS using her image as far back as 2017 sooo why not get someone on the team who can recognize dog whistles so that you never ever accidentally signal to them as an influential white person?

i’m a graphic designer and all of my professors would tell us constantly to reverse, flip, mirror, and create all sort of different versions of anything we designed to make sure it doesn’t look like anything inappropriate or bigoted. It’s literally designers’ jobs to be mindful of things like that.
