Network engineer here. This is preventable. 1.) get good stable internet, fiber is best, 2.) geat a great router, 3.) configure qos or traffic shaping to prioritize your gaming traffic. And Stop bittorrenting while you’re playing games.

I have 1 gig service and I have gotten 20+ hit markers at roughly 25-30 ft with an LMG and die with 2-3. There shouldn't be much latency with 1 gig service and a 4-5 ping. they need to fix it fast or people will stop playing.

I was sending my boys these vids. I have good wifi and ping. but I would turn a corner, fire like 9 rounds into a guy and then he'd insta melt me in 5 with a smg. seems worse on the ars

This is definitely a problem with LMGs especially. I use my MP5 and everything feels smooth, I’m able to hit guys 100+ yards away. I switch to the DSR IAR which should be better at range, but I often dump a whole mag right on someone without registering a kill.
