Just tried it. I was driving and my fiancé was on his phone in the passenger seat I said “aww look a bird” he put down his phone and started looking around immediately 😭😭 I just smiled and said it flew away.

I just tried it. We are outside smoking and drinking our coffee in the backyard. I said oh look at that bird. Before I could even finish my sentence he was looking up, his phone went into his lap. I’m so lucky to have this man♥

I picked him partially because of how he looked at the “bird”. I knew he valued what was important to me and wanted to engage with it and me and share the joy. I knew it was over when he shifted from enthusiastically looking at the “bird” to ignoring the “bird”.

my first thought: well I can’t do it when he’s out wrenching on his cars 😅 I mean, leaving it up to his attention span over something trivial is GUTSY. But I get it.
