This was a preview right? That’s normal for a preview. It’s an open dress rehearsal effectively so things can go wrong, delays can happen, until the show is set at the end of previews.

And this is why 1st preview is always a risk! The show isn’t totally ready yet, it’s gonna be a shaky start. most shows have only had one run through and probably on that same day at that point
