She is being returned to the shelter this week after months in foster due to no fault of her own. Luckily, with her being foster we got some great notes on here but her life is at risk if she returns to the shelter. The shelter is constantly at capacity and she was so stressed out when she was there.. it is simply not a good combination. Read her bio here⬇️💗 Meet Gemma — a lovable 2-year-old girl eager to find her forever family! Gemma is a sweet and friendly pup with just the right balance of energy and calmness. She loves to play with squeaky toys and balls, and she’s a pro at fetch! While she has plenty of zest for life, she also knows how to settle down and relax by your side. She’s potty trained, holds it all night, and is good on a leash. Gemma especially loves the water — she’s a pool enthusiast and enjoys cooling off on warm days. She’s very affectionate, giving spontaneous kisses just to remind you how much she loves being with you. Gemma is well-behaved in the car and during outings, showing no interest in other dogs, making her an ideal companion for outings. She’s crate trained and ready to settle into her new home. Please note, Gemma is not suitable for households with cats. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and playful companion who just wants to be by your side, Gemma could be the perfect match. Come meet this adorable girl and let her steal your heart! 1. We took her to the dog park and she did great with all dogs there. 2. Wonderful on long car trips, just curls up and goes to sleep. 3. Wonderful with kids. We took her to Asheville and she met so many families and kids.
