I just loss two of my girls on June 1st and June 2nd to a drunk driver and to know that she will probably get Max 10 to 12 years because that’s the max in California for killing multiple people wile driving drunk.. broken justice system because they can’t be tried for the same crime twice.. I say and eye for and eye life in prison.. because you see people with multiple DUI’s and they don’t learn they will drink and drive again. Because they really don’t get harsher punishments.

He was the head of a youth group and he was the best person ever. Nicest man you could ever meet. I saw him just 3 days ago and now he is gone.

They have all the money in the world to put up barriers that whole stretch of pch not to mention lighting but death after death nothing gets done. The amount of drunk drivers I've seen speeding down that stretch is crazy, especially on the weekends and at night time

Head of our neighborhood youth group, nicest man I’ve ever met. The only thing he cared about was making kids amazing adults and helping us in any way he could. He has small children and a daughter in my grade. Sending prayers out to his family

Been saying dui needs to be taken more seriously it happens way too much. No fking excuse. If u can afford booze or drugs u can afford an uber and if u can’t afford both sounds like u need to save ur money

Crazy how these bicyclists put themselves in harms way unnecessarily. There is a massive bike path on the beach that they refuse to use and they refuse to ride single file within the bike lane provided on PCH. Instead they are constantly side by side and in the highway lanes within the path of vehicles in an area of low light and in foggy conditions.

I'm from this area and people who ride bikes literally will take over a lane 😭 meanwhile drivers are driving at highway speeds and will swerve around them.. its absolutely insane how little bicycles care about their own life and safety... they need to remove the bike lanes and make it illegal it was a terrible idea

Everybody's talking about why were they riding their bikes at 6:45am... The DRUNK driver probably would have still hit them if it was slightly brighter out. stop blaming the victims

Bicyclist need to stay as far right as possible. They also need to have lights when riding in low visibility areas.

This is why I’m teaching my children to never ride a bike on an open road. Closed road for a sanctioned race is ok but riding your bike on an open road is always a severe risk for injury or death. Not victim blaming but even sober drivers make mistakes. It’s a risk I would never take.
