@bearsworld_gsd: a bit of a vulnerable post...I have been overjoyed with watching Bear bond with my son. I remember when I was pregnant, I was worried about how Bear was going to be with him. as well behaved and wonderful Bear is, dogs can be unpredictable and I know that. I never thought Bear would hurt him, but maybe accidently play rough or knock him over, jump on him etc. but Bear has been gentle and loving since day 1. I truly believe dogs can be in tune with human feelings and emotions. when I came home with my new baby, I struggled a bit with ppd. Bear was right by my side the entire time. he wasnt constantly nudging me, he wasnt all over the baby, he wasnt barking and running around like a crazy boy. he just sat there with me day in and day out and brought me so much comfort. since then, I have had the pleasure, and am blessed to have watched his bond with my son grow. (partially because my son always has the good snacks, lol jk) they play, they hang out, they are inseparable. I personally was lucky enough to have grown up with dogs and I am so happy to be able to give the same to my son. #puppy #dog #germanshepherd
