This country was bombed by Germany and most men of this country were dead in the world wars. This country was built by the immigrants and now that it’s built up nicely she’s basically telling them to go else where ???

Multiculturalism has been perfectly fine. The problem is that we’ve not been able to have a reasonable discussion about the relatively small percentage of people that have refused to integrate into British society, and now it’s come to a boiling point. If the government hadn’t been so scared over the last 20 years, we wouldn’t have this problem.

When my parents moved from Scotland to England when I was a primary aged child, our culture was very different to that of those around us. This was in the late 1960s early 1970s. An example was our approach to hallowe’en. My brother and I dressed up with our neep lanterns and went out and about in the empty streets. No-one else was out. We also celebrated Hogmanay more than Christmas while those around us celebrated Christmas and did not do much New Year’s Eve. Culture is ever changing and even within these small isles there are many different ‘indigenous’ cultures. Cultural diversity will always exist and we should celebrate and enjoy it.

Britain was built through colonisation by the Saxons, Viking’s and Normans. Then it stayed flat for a thousand years. Migration was 0.01% until 1999 when Blair opened up the borders and since then it’s been unsustainable, unaffordable and the vast majority want to stopped.

Jasper Maitland :
You certainly welcome multi racialism, definitely not multi culturalism. 1940 to 1980 multiple races becoming woven into English culture was successful. Post 1997 glorification of diverse culture pits people against ewch other. Diverse cultures are encumbered by "motherland or homeland" strife and express in on these shores thereby upsetting other minority cultures. Inter ethnic minority cultural struggles can become unsavoury. Majority ethic cultural struggles between the 4 nations of Britain tend to rub along.

So this country is not currently a success due to multiculturalism ? Can people look inwards rather than deflect and blame others for their shortcomings .

It hasn’t worked for those who are insular and don’t want it to work. It’s an idea not law and many examples of cultural sharing in all communities. Without it Britain would be a very dull place.

Oh nahhhhhhhh get her out of there “if it’s not the politicians responsibility to create cultural cohesion then austerity wouldn’t have had an effect on it” huhhhhh? Does she not understand indirect consequences/ 2nd & 3rd order effects? She shouldn’t have a platform to speak, my God.

Jangan sampai merasa dianaktirikan. Kami minta langkah nyata untuk memastikan pemerataan pembangunan sampai ke daerah,” ujarnya menutup pernyataan. #LayarKalteng #InfrastrukturKalteng #KomisiV #Syauqie #KementerianPU
