One thing I’ve struggled with most in motherhood is keeping up with my old life making time for friends, replying to messages, or showing up to plans. I’ve never felt more forgetful or frustrated with myself than I do right now. I’m endlessly grateful for the friends who understand, even when I reply days later or completely forget a catch-up we’d planned. This season won’t last forever, and I’m soaking it all in my babies need me so much right now, and truthfully, I need them too.
