Ive been in the dental field 13 years … I would get a second opinion …. I am not sure where you went but it doesnt sound like a private practice … these “chain dental “ offices are just not it …. Implant by implant and BG by BG is sounds crazy … I would consider and partial .

I do not work at a dentist office but I had issues with my mouth , not anymore but that cracked tooth you are gonna have to make sure it clean like odee clean if not it will rot . I had the same issue where I kept it in it got rotted and had to remove it . Regardless your teeth are gonna shift . Now if your mouth had bad gum disease and you have like thinning gums yes they can remove the teeth but if they are strong they will keep it in . Yes get a second opinion but I had to quit smoking like 8 years ago because of the gum issue . Moving forward get that second opinion but might as well leave your mouth alone make sure the tooth that’s cracked is super clean but again after a while it’s gonna crack more . I’d say get removed and then make your move

It’s always good to get two or three opinions out here in Rhode Island. We have Delta dental and they try to rob me for a root canal.

The best thing I can tell you is equip yourself with knowledge, go to a private practice, ask questions/consultations, research a lot. Come with facts, collect all your X-rays and get as many consultations as you can. Good luck boo 🥰

Do the partial, I had one since I was in my 20s. Nobody can tell. I don’t regret it. Also implants can fail- it happened to my friend

Also keep in mind, a second opinion is not always the best option. Some offices may do what we call bandaid help. Just take care of 1 problem which is cool but may cause other problems down the road if the underlying problem isn’t addressed 😏

Been in dental for 16 years. Everything they are saying is correct but ultimately it is ur choice and u can do the partial. Ideally, the option they spoke about is the best option for long term. But financially, u can do the partial if that what ur financially comfortable either way. But yes, very important to get the back teeth replaced whether by partial or implants so u are not putting all forces in ur front teeth. Hope that makes sense
