I started building mine my senior year of college as well, grab one that has a low limit and just use it for small purchases to build up a payment history. After 6 months call and ask for a balance increase based on your income.

I got a credit card fall of my senior year! This is the perfect time to get one because you’ll have credit established by the time you need to get an apt. I wouldn’t stress about the kind to get bc it’s hard to get the “big ones” with no credit history but you can apply for a sapphire, amex, etc. when u have credit established !

actually after you turn 21 you have atleast 3 more months till your license expires. atleast that’s what it is in my state and i live in illinois.

get the discover student card. helped me build my credit. er even the doordash Mastercard one if you're constantly ordering doordash. Just ensure you pay on time so interest fees don't pile up.
