The sad thing about this is that, they stated all of this in Project 2025, and Kamala warned everyone. The US military is not privately funded; it is taxpayer-funded, but private CONTRACTORS receive a significant portion of the defense budget, with over half of the Pentagon's discretionary spending going to private firms. This has led to a situation where private companies are integral to military operations, handling services like weapons manufacturing, research and development, and even base amenities.
