thing that frustrates me is im in southern wv. I have the desire and enough knowledge to get a nonprofit bakery that provides fresh baked breads to food banks/pantries and organizations that provide help to those in need. I get good idea but no support beyond tha6, so it is safe to say 99.9% do not care about the people beyond they need to do something that helps them.

I’m on SNAP and WIC and I’m the primary caretaker for my elderly mother and my special needs son. I would love to work but with all their appts and therapies it makes it almost impossible. I still keep applying and trying to find something that will work. This is maddening and scary.

My observation from a WV citizen. I myself at 1 point in life as a single mom needed food help . No shame , cuz I worked 40+ hrs a week and still qualified! The fact that 2 ppl can work full time & still qualify for SNAP, speaks volumes!! We are underpaid!! We are just trying to survive! We are undervalued! It’s quite sickening!! We want to work but the wages don’t even meet poverty levels in WV

The citizens of WV voted for this administration. I believe the final count was somewhere between 70-80% of the state. I don’t feel bad for them, just their kids. It’s sad they didn’t put them first and now the children are paying for their choices
