I just had a lady who scammed me by asking for full service on a regular basis so that includes shrubs,spray for weeds and mowing etc…so I gave her my price like I would a regular client being added to my list for weekly visits so after the first mow trim and spray she proceeded to ask for extra things like trimming a tree and a 12ft over grown shrub in the back yard and for me to pull her weeds by hand which she has flower beds all the way around the house and a whole rock back yard full of weeds when I told her I don’t do that for the regular service price she got angry and said she needed all this done now before winter gets here so that threw red flags up for me because what I realized was she wanted someone to get her yard back into shape within the first week or 2 of service so she could cancel and basically get a $500-$800 one time cleaning so her yard would be good for the winter so instead of asking for a one time cleaning up she posed as a regular client to get a cheap clean up and cancel service as soon as it’s back in good shape and that mad me so angry because her yard was neglected for so long it took me hours the first trip to get it cleaned up thinking she would be a good client but turns out I got scammed. That was a learning experience I’ll never forget
