OMG yes. These have become _my_ "stories". (I would also love to know more...) I think there's also an address level of interactive theater, that I've especially seen with Bards of New York - especially with the community they've developed in the Twitch live stream chat, that then rolls over into their Discord. (Also, I first caught them live with their Regolus: Dark Age Ch. 35, guest starring Aabria Iyengar, and I was HOOKED! SO much drama, but so well done.)

have you tried vampire the masquerade la by night? it's free on YouTube and has an even more direct soap opera vibe imo. very Gothic horror urban fantasy vibes but it is fantastic and alex ward is in it along with b dave walters who is phenomenal as well

Ding ding ding, you’re exactly right. Liam has even said that their show does kind of scratch an itch for him that theater does as an actor who loves theater and the stage, most of them have said something along those lines over the years since most of them are theater nerds

would AP be a smaller window of that idea of consistent work since the ones that get paid are few and far between? ie Intrepid Heroes is always the main 6. campaign 4 is a huge spin off with having multiple tables so they can have more people playing?

I also never played dnd but I heard about CR and wanted to check what was going on and was hooked from the beginning of C1 now I'm chugging along the legend of avantris stuff, they're very good at role playing but there's a lot to watch

DnD and actual plays fall into the same niche as Pro Wrestling to me. The players and the wrestlers take up the same space, the dm and the booker(s) take up the same space and the dice and the audience take up the same space.
